Publishing
Publish or unpublish your support page and control when it accepts public submissions.
Publishing controls whether your support page is live and accepting customer submissions. Until a page is published, the public URL may show a placeholder or be unreachable.
Open Support page → Settings → Publishing in the dashboard.
Draft vs published
| State | Customer experience | Operator experience |
|---|---|---|
| Draft | Form not available (or preview-only) | You can edit settings safely |
| Published | Form accepts submissions | Requests appear in the inbox |
Finish Branding and Form fields before publishing so the first real customer sees a polished form.
How to publish
- Select the support page to publish.
- Open Publishing.
- Review the checklist — common items include valid branding, at least one required field, and active billing.
- Toggle Published on or click Publish.
- Copy the public URL and share it.
Unpublishing stops new submissions. Existing requests and status links may continue to work for historical access.
Pre-launch checklist
Before you link the form from your app or website:
- Submit a test request and confirm it lands in the inbox
- Verify notification email arrives
- Confirm customer receives confirmation with status link
- Enable spam protection if the page is public-facing
- Add custom domain if using one — allow DNS propagation time
Subscription and publishing
A lapsed or inactive subscription can force unpublish even if the toggle shows published in memory. Symptoms:
- Customers see an inactive or error page
- New requests stop appearing
Restore billing from Invoices and subscription, then confirm publishing is still enabled.
Publishing while payment is past due may be blocked. Fix billing first to avoid customer-facing downtime.
SEO and discoverability
Support pages are intended for direct links — from your app, footer, or email — not for broad search indexing. While we don't include any noindex or nofollow meta tags, these forms are not exactly search engine optimized.
Multiple pages
Each support page publishes independently. One page can be live while another stays in draft — useful for staging a new product line. See Multiple pages.
