Profile
Manage your SupportPage account name, email, and password.
Profile settings control your SupportPage login — the identity you use to access the dashboard, not customer accounts (customers do not log in to SupportPage).
Open Account → Profile in the dashboard.
Account information
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Name | Displayed in the UI and possibly in email footers when you reply |
| Login identifier and destination for account-level messages | |
| Password | Change periodically; use a strong unique value |
Updates save immediately or after you confirm the form, depending on the field.
Changing your email
- Enter the new email address.
- Confirm with your password if prompted.
- Verify the new address via a confirmation link sent to the new inbox.
- Until verified, some features may continue using the old email.
Changing email does not retroactively update customer-facing threads. Historical replies still reference prior addresses in metadata.
Changing your password
- Choose Change password.
- Enter current password and new password twice.
- Save.
Active sessions may remain logged in until they expire — log out on shared machines after a password change.
Forgot password
Use Forgot password on the login screen if you are locked out. Reset links are single-use and time-limited. See Create an account.
Profile vs support page settings
| Profile | Support page settings |
|---|---|
| Your login | Public form and inbox per page |
| One per person | One or many pages per account |
| Account → Profile | Support page in sidebar |
Do not confuse account email with notification email for new requests — the latter is in Notifications.
Security recommendations
- Use a password manager
- Do not share one login across teammates — each operator should have their own account when team features are available, or use a shared inbox process with clear accountability
- Log out on shared computers
Deleting your account
Account deletion may be available under Profile or a separate privacy section. Deletion is irreversible and affects all support pages on the account.
Before deleting:
- Export request history if required for compliance
- Cancel subscription
- Unpublish pages and remove custom domains
Contact SupportPage support if you need a data export and do not see a self-serve option.
