Overview
What SupportPage is, who it is for, and how the product fits together.
SupportPage is a hosted service that gives your team a branded support intake page, a requests inbox, and customer follow-up through email and status links. Customers submit requests on your public form; your team works them from the dashboard.
You do not need to deploy software, configure mail servers, or run a full helpdesk. SupportPage handles form hosting, notifications, and the customer-facing status experience.
Who it is for
SupportPage works well when you:
- Run a SaaS product, agency, or small business and need a clean way to collect support requests
- Want something lighter than Zendesk or Intercom for intake and triage
- Care about branding — logo, colors, and a URL that matches your company
- Need customers to track request status without creating accounts
If you already have a helpdesk, SupportPage can still serve as a branded front door that forwards structured requests to your team.
How it works
- You configure a support page — name, branding, and form fields.
- Customers submit requests on your public URL.
- Your team sees new requests in the inbox and opens ticket detail to respond.
- Customers receive email updates and can open a magic-link status page to follow the thread.
Core concepts
| Concept | Description |
|---|---|
| Account | Your SupportPage login. One account can own multiple support pages on eligible plans. |
| Support page | A branded public form with its own slug, settings, and inbox. |
| Request | A single customer submission — the unit of work in your inbox. |
| Status | Where a request sits in your workflow (for example, open, waiting, resolved). |
| Magic link | A signed URL emailed to the customer so they can view status without logging in. |
What SupportPage includes
- Public support form — customizable fields, branding, and optional custom domain
- Dashboard inbox — list, filter, and open requests
- Email notifications — alerts for your team and updates for customers
- Spam protection — honeypot, rate limiting, and optional Cloudflare Turnstile
- Subscription billing — managed through Stripe via Laravel Cashier
What SupportPage is not
SupportPage is focused on intake and lightweight ticket handling. It is not a full CRM, knowledge base, or live chat product. There is no customer login portal — customers interact through the form, email, and status links only.
