General settings

Page name, slug, default URL, and core behavior for a support page.

General settings define the identity and baseline behavior of a single support page. Open Support page → Settings → General settings in the dashboard (after selecting the page you want to edit).

Page name

The page name appears in:

  • The public form header (unless hidden in Branding)
  • The dashboard page switcher
  • Browser tab title by default

Use a name customers recognize — for example, Acme Support or Billing Help.

Slug and default URL

Every support page has a unique slug that forms the default public URL:

https://{slug}.support-page.dev

The slug is set during onboarding and is generally not changeable after creation to avoid breaking shared links. Plan your slug before go-live.

Support email and contact display

Some accounts expose a support email or contact line on the public page. This is informational — actual replies flow through the request thread and notification system, not necessarily through that mailbox unless you configure forwarding separately.

Time zone and locale

If exposed in settings, time zone affects how timestamps display in exports or customer-facing status pages. Locale controls date formatting where applicable.

Page status

General settings often show whether the page is:

StateMeaning
DraftConfigured but not accepting public submissions
PublishedLive at your public URL — see Publishing
InactiveUnpublished or blocked by billing — see FAQ

Publishing controls are detailed on the Publishing page; general settings may surface a quick toggle or link.

Multiple pages

Accounts on eligible plans can create additional pages from Support pages → Add page. Each page has its own general settings, inbox, and URL. See Multiple pages.
